The Help Them See Foundation empowers the creation and distribution of faith-based films that inspire belief, healing, and a deeper connection to God. Through donor support and creative partnerships, we bring spiritually impactful stories to life—illuminating truth for audiences around the world.
Film powerfully shapes perceptions of faith because stories immerse viewers, lower counter-arguing, and shift beliefs through narrative transportation—the feeling of being "lost" in a story. When films portray faith with artistic excellence and authenticity, they don't just reflect belief—they help reconstruct it, shaping audience understanding of God, community, and moral life.

Recipient of the 2025 Smith-Pettit Foundation Award for Outstanding Contribution to Mormon Letters. His feature films—including The Saratov Approach, Freetown, and Faith of Angels—have reached millions worldwide, proving that faith-based cinema can achieve both artistic excellence and global impact.
